Concord eBike Battery Replacement

Concord does not sell a replacement battery. There is no manufacturer parts store, no dealer, and no official pack to order — which is exactly why this is hard to search for. What you can do is identify precisely what your bike takes, then have a shop match and fit a certified pack. Here are the published specs for 4 models, and shops that can do the rest.

Concord battery specifications

Concord has no manufacturer website, so these come from the retailer listings for each bike — the closest thing to a first-party source for a store house brand, and read by hand because those listings block automated access. Blank cells mean the figure is not published, which is more useful to you than a guess.

Concord does not publish connector types. That is the field that most often decides whether a pack physically fits, so photograph your own connector and compare it before you buy — see below.

Before you order

Will this pack fit my bike?

Model names are not enough on their own — Concord, like most brands in this segment, changes pack hardware between production runs of the same model name. Four things have to match, and you can check all of them in about five minutes with the bike in front of you.

  1. 1

Voltage — the one that must match exactly

Read it off the label on your existing pack, not off a spec sheet for your model. Concord packs in our data are 36V and 48V. A voltage mismatch is not a fitment problem, it is a fire risk.

  2. 2

    The connector on the pack

Photograph the port on the back of the pack and the matching one on the frame, then compare against the listing photos. Count the pins. This is the field manufacturers publish least and get asked about most.

  3. 3

    The mount and rail

A pack of the right voltage can still be the wrong physical shape. Measure the length of the pack and the rail it slides onto, and check whether the lock is on the pack or on the base.

  4. 4

    Your charger

If you change capacity, keep the charger matched to the pack voltage. Using a mismatched charger is one of the most common causes of pack failure, and it is entirely avoidable.

There is no official Concord pack

Concord sells the bike but not the battery, so every replacement is by definition a third-party pack. That makes certification the whole decision rather than a footnote: insist on UL 2271 (pack) or UL 2849 (whole bike), and treat an unmarked marketplace pack at half the price as the risk it is. Uncertified packs are where battery fires concentrate. Worth knowing: the bike itself is UL-certified, so an uncertified replacement pack lowers the safety standard your bike was built to.

We do not link third-party "compatible" packs, and we will not recommend one. A shop that fits it can stand behind it — that is worth more than a listing that cannot.

Handling rules that apply to every pack

  • Stop charging immediately if a pack is swollen, dented, hot to the touch, or smells sharp and chemical.
  • Use the charger that came with the bike. Voltage-mismatched generic chargers are a leading cause of pack failure.
  • Buy replacement packs certified to UL 2271 (battery) or UL 2849 (whole bike) — New York City requires it and other jurisdictions have followed.
  • Charge on a hard surface, away from exits, and not overnight while you are asleep.
  • Never bin a damaged pack or leave it in a closed car — take it to a shop or a hazardous-waste drop-off.

FAQ

Concord battery questions

What battery does a Concord eBike use?

Concord packs in our data run 36V and 48V, with capacities from 7.8Ah to 10.4Ah. Capacity varies by model and often by model year, so check the label on your own pack before ordering rather than going by the model name alone. Every figure on this page is taken from the retailer listings for each Concord bike and was last checked on August 12, 2026.

How much is a replacement Concord battery?

There is no official answer, because Concord does not sell a replacement pack — no manufacturer parts store, no dealer, nothing to order. Any replacement is a third-party pack matched to your bike's voltage, capacity, mount and connector, so the price depends entirely on what is sourced. Expect a certified pack in this class to run roughly $250 to $450, plus $40 to $90 for a capacity test to confirm the old pack is actually the fault. Have a shop do the matching — a wrong pack here is not a return, it is a fire risk.

Does Concord sell replacement batteries?

No. Concord is a store house brand — the bikes are sold through a retailer and there is no manufacturer website, parts store or dealer network behind them. That is why searching for an official replacement turns up nothing: there isn't one. The practical route is to read the exact voltage and capacity off your existing pack, photograph the connector and the mount, and take both to a local shop that can source a UL-certified pack that physically fits and test it once installed.

Will a generic battery fit my Concord?

Only if the voltage, the physical mount and the connector all match — and the connector is the one manufacturers publish least often. Voltage is the non-negotiable one: fitting a 48V pack to a 36V controller, or charging either with the wrong charger, is a leading cause of pack failure and fire. Beyond fit, buy packs certified to UL 2271 or the whole bike to UL 2849. Uncertified marketplace packs are where battery fires concentrate, and no saving justifies that risk.

Where can I get a Concord battery fitted near me?

Any competent bike shop can fit and test a pack, and you do not need a Concord dealer — Concord does not have a dealer network. Call ahead and ask two things: can you capacity-test my existing pack, and can you fit a replacement I order myself. We list shops across 3,134 US cities, with ratings, hours and phone numbers.
